Arthur's - Cincinnati, OH

For over half a century, Arthur’s has been a neighborhood staple in Cincinnati’s renowned Hyde Park. In the 1970’s, Arthur’s became what it is today currently owned by us – Susan Selzer, Joe Santorelli, and B.J. Hughes. We began our careers at Arthur’s in the early 1990’s as bussers and servers while we were in college. All three of us eventually ended up managing the restaurant/bar for many years before we decided to buy the establishment from our, then, bosses.

We were, and still are committed to maintaining the same high quality food, friendly service, and neighborhood atmosphere that has been Arthur’s reputation for decades. As recognition for this commitment, we have won numerous awards for things such as Best Appetizer for our Fried Cheese, Best Fish Sandwich for our Beer-battered Cod, Best Happy Hour, Best Late Night Dining, Best “Cheap Eats,” and Best Outdoor Dining. Our burgers, what we’re known best for, have been honored by Cincinnati Magazine, City Beat Magazine, AOL City Search, and the Cincinnati Enquirer which inducted us into their “Burger Hall of Fame.” Come on in, and check out our giant wall mural of former bar regulars painted by cartoonist Jerry Dowling, take a seat at our antique mahogany bar that was brought up from an old hotel in Kentucky, or enjoy a leisurely meal on our beautiful New Orleans inspired garden patio (weather permitting, of course).
