Ever hear of the "Curse of the Billy Goat," also known as the Cubs Curse?

Do you recall the Saturday Night Live sketch in which a short order cook would yell out to incoming patrons:

"Cheezborger! Cheezborger!
No fries, cheeps! No Pepsi, Coke!"?

All of the above have one thing in common: the World Famous Billy Goat Tavern, a Chicago legend since 1934.

Chris Madrid's Tacos and Burgers opened in 1977 in historic Mid-town section of San Antonio. The burgers quickly became the favorite menu item and soon the tacos were deleted from the menu and name.

The cantina is a full service bar featuring iced down longnecks and frozen margaritas.

Hamburgers are the main dining course. There are six varieties and two sizes, regular and Macho size. Fresh cut french fries, nachos, chalupas and a 6 oz. grilled chicken sandwich fill the rest of the menu.

Neighborhood style bar in a downtown location. The burgers are a favorite but they also have very good sandwiches and soups. Nice selection of beer.
