We are happy to have you enjoy the different Ethiopian cuisine. We serve many vegetarian and various meat dishes as well as seafood.
A neighborhood favorite for almost forty years, the diner started as a Jewish delicatessan in the early 1970's. This was way back when Baymeadows Road was a two lane road. To this day, we still serve the best corned beef in town. Our reuben's are one of the house favorites.

I apprenticed as a kitchen manager at another Mexican restaurant in the Old City section of Philadelphia where I learned my trade from the head chef who became my mentor.

The Chalkboard restaurant has been a part of Tulsa's history since the 1970s and as a part of a multimillion dollar renovation the new and improved Chalkboard restaurant arrived in the spring of 1999.
The interior of The Chalkboard has changed from those early years. The restaurant now sports a fairly open kitchen for glimpses of the chefs creating dishes that please the senses.
