Teocali was established in August 2006. The restaurant is a vision of founders, Enrique & Chela Gutierrez, of bringing truly authentic Mexican cuisine to the Kansas City metro area. Many times authentic Mexican recipes are changed in the United States to entice a wider customer base. However, at Teocali, we use the same recipes that have been in our family for generations. So, when you dine with us you’ll always be confident that you’re eating authentic Mexican food.

For drinks after a long day of work, there is no better place to be than here at Teocali. We offer a relaxing atmosphere with traditional Mexican music at our bar, where you will be able to sample over 40 different tequilas. Most of which are difficult to find anywhere else in the city.
