We are a cozy restaurant featuring French cuisine with global influences. We are on the edge of Lakewood in East Dallas, near Skillman & Live Oak streets.

Our restaurant has earned countless awards and acclaim year after year. While trained in classical French cuisine, travel has influenced Chef/owner René Peeters’s cooking style. He worked for many acclaimed restaurants across the U.S. Watel's was started in 1986. The core staff has been the same for nearly 20 years.
