Cafe 222 - San Diego, CA

In 1991, Terri Gavre found the perfect spot to open her restaurant, the downtown corner of 2nd and Island Ave, in the Marina District. She created a functional, funky-industrial atmosphere to compliment her quirky, eclectic style of cooking.

15 years later, Cafe 222 is still picking up steam and the area around her restaurant has grown-up along side her. Cafe 222 has become not only a local neighborhood hangout, but also a destination for travelers to San Diego.
