The Pig on Beale quickly became a local favorite for “Memphis Style” Hickory Smoked BBQ pork shoulder and BBQ ribs. The Pig received “Editor’s Pick” from the Memphis Flyer in 2003 for “The Best BBQ Ribs in Memphis” as well as the 2003 “Most Improved Restaurant” from the Beale Street Merchants Association.

India Garden has made it's presence felt by serving north indian food. Our Indian cuisine encompasses a wide range of delicacies from many parts of the country. Mild curries that are rich and creamy, or with tangy fruits, others hot with abundant chilies. Succulent vegetables and subtly flavored pulses. Our specialty is our traditional tandoori cooking. Meat that has been marinated is cooked in seconds in the searing hot of the clay tandoor ovens.

1961: 1041 North Highland Ave. becomes George's Delicatessen. It started as a deli in the front half of the store, and became a bar that sells beer and sandwiches in the back. In 1983, with help from son, G.G. Najour, George's installs a kitchen in the rear of the building, creating a limited menu that did indeed include the George's burger, as well as some appetizers, salads, and other items. Thus began a new era, and creating a need to use the name, "George's Bar & Restaurant" on the front window.

Little Havana has been serving up our casual interpretation of Cuban inspired cuisine for over a decade in Federal Hill, South Baltimore.
