G&A opened its door in 1927 by Andy Farantos' grandfather. Back then, our restaurant was one of the most famous places in Baltimore to go get a hot dog (for only 15 cents) and a milkshake. Today, G&A is the home of Baltimore's best Coney Island hot dogs, Coney burgers, and so much more!

Andy is the third-generation owner of G&A and has been running the restaurant since 1988. Like his grandfather and his father, Andy can line up about a dozen hot dogs along his arm and dress them with chili, mustard, and diced raw onions. In short, all you need to say is "1 up" and you get the works.

G&A is famous for its Coney Island hot dogs and has served over four-and-a-half-million hot dogs since 1927. G&A has received the Reader's Choice Award for Favorite Hot Dogs seven straight years since 2002. The restaurant serves breakfast all day, fresh cut fries, freshly made salads, and has several dish specialties such as the G&A sliders and Hot Holly.

G&A is a place where you will want to visit again and again. (from http://www.gandarestaurant.com)
