Just a short block and a half off of Chicago's bustling North Michigan Avenue shopping mecca known as the Magnificent Mile sits a venerable little townhouse located at 222 E. Ontario Street in which Les Nomades is housed. The little townhouse remains one of the last vestiges of the late nineteenth-century neighborhood, which was home to many of Chicago's most influential families.
Greatest care has been given to all the details and appointments around the house to provide guests with a truly sensuous experience; from the crackle of the fireplaces and their warming aromatic glow, to the fine arts adorning the lovely salon walls. Fittingly, the centerpiece to this wonderful setting is a brilliant wine collection and exquisite French cuisine. The award-winning wine list offers Old World and New World selections from our cellar, which houses over 5000 bottles.
The prix-fixe menu, created by Chef Roland Liccioni, is formatted as a four-course or five-course menu with many selections from which to choose in each course. The cuisine is decidedly Classical French, but with nuances that are in keeping with current culinary trends. The sauces exhibit perfect balance and harmony and are superbly intense with flavor. Particularly thoughtful is portion size, which is generous, but never indelicately enormous. Our goal is to satisfy and exceed to expectations. (from http://www.lesnomades.net)
