Mineo's Squirrel Hill - Pittsburgh, PA

In 1958, Giovanni “John” Mineo set out to learn the bakery business. What he learned instead was the pizza business. At a time when pizzerias were few, Giovanni Mineo started his small business and progressively the business became a Pittsburgh staple.

His sons took over the family business and still hold to their father's traditions and haven't changed his recipes a bit. They are serving the same pies their father did in 1958.
