Located in the heart of Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward, Palms Bistro & Bar has integrated modern nuances among the distinctive Cream City brick walls to provide a new, yet comfortable and familiar feel.

With such notable features as beautiful sky lighting, antique finish fire places and unique local artwork, Palms has a stylish yet preserved look that, on the inside, only offers a glimmer of what the building was initially designed for. Originally in 1895, architect Carl Itzel designed the Queen Anne style building to house the Hambach family on the second floor while leaving the first floor to be rented as retail space. Most recently before Palms inception in the fall of 2002, the first floor belonged to The Broadway Bar & Grill, a popular neighborhood hang-out.

Today, the space has changed dramatically and the entire building is now used exclusively for restaurant patronage. Our second floor is available for special functions both private and public, while our first floor is always open to the general public. At Palms, it is our goal to provide great food and drinks in an upscale, yet comfortable and casual setting. (from http://www.palmsbistrobar.com)
