In twenty-five years, the Cookie Jar has evolved from a micro bakery featuring fresh baked cookies, cinnamon rolls and muffins with a homemade touch into a restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner in our new home on Danby Street.

The breakfast menu includes fwhole bean coffee and espresso, omelets, skillets, home fried potatoes, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, thick sliced homemade bread, muffins and more. Breakfast is served all day.

Opened in January of 1989, Engine Co. No. 28 is an American restaurant reminiscent of the classic grills of San Francisco and New York - mahogany booths, granite bar, pressed tin ceilings and brick floors - set in a beautifully restored 1912 downtown Los Angeles firehouse. The restaurant's atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed with a staff that is both friendly and attentive.
