Hayes Street Grill is a fish house in San Francisco's Civic Center district, across the street from the Performing Arts Center --opposite Davies Symphony Hall, a half block from SF Jazz Center, a block from the Opera House and City Hall.

Cafe Capistrano, our mexican restaurant in the Triangle Area, takes great pride in serving delicious California Style Mexican Cuisine. Named after the beautiful Spanish Mission in Southern California where the swallows flock every spring, Cafe Capistrano serves fresh, flavorful, delicious and healthy mexican dishes in a relaxing and appealing atmosphere.

In 1954, Frank Sterle, an immigrant from Ljubljana, Slovenia, founded his Slovenian Country House. The menu was small. The restaurant, with only a few picnic tables and one waitress, was, too.

Since its opening, Sterle's Country House has featured traditional fare including wiener schnitzel, chicken paprikash, stuffed cabbage, klobase and sauerkraut.

In its early days of operation, Shisha Café only offered flavored tobacco for its famous Hookah and an assortment of teas, coffees, fruit smoothies, and sodas. Patrons watched games on the big screen TV while others chatted and smoked Hookahs.
