Hominy Grill - Charleston, SC

Nationally acclaimed and locally beloved, Hominy Grill is a Charleston institution serving classic southern specialties that taste just like Grandma used to make (well, if Grandma had known how to cook, that is! But that’s another story….) We don’t open any cans here; all is prepared from scratch with fresh, locally raised ingredients.

Chef/proprietor Robert Stehling first learned to cook under Bill Neal at Crook’s Corner in Chapel Hill, NC. He then worked for several years in New York before moving to Charleston where he opened Hominy Grill. He received the prestigious James Beard Best Chef Southeast award in 2008.

Hominy Grill serves breakfast, lunch, dinner & weekend brunch.
