Teocali was established in August 2006. The restaurant is a vision of founders, Enrique & Chela Gutierrez, of bringing truly authentic Mexican cuisine to the Kansas City metro area. Many times authentic Mexican recipes are changed in the United States to entice a wider customer base. However, at Teocali, we use the same recipes that have been in our family for generations. So, when you dine with us you’ll always be confident that you’re eating authentic Mexican food.

We make them on our dessert plating stage with culinary mirrors overhead, right in the middle of the dining room. We literally roll out the red carpet for you, along with velvet seating, candlelight, and linen napkins.
