The first liquor license was issued to the building December 20th, 1934. In 1990 became a new era for this neighborhood bar. This is when the management force that drives it to this day took charge. It took the name Dizzy Issie’s in 1997. The good reviews started to circulate and before you knew it, Dizzy’s began to receive best of awards from Baltimore’s City Paper. They had just relocated to Baltimore after living in Paris, France and began their business by opening an upscale kiosk where they sold crêpes, panini, salads and more.
