Mezè Restaurant opened in June 2001 in the heart of Adams Morgan and immediately received critical acclaim for its delicious cuisine, warm ambiance, and friendly service. All of our food, including our special Turkish bread, is made from scratch by our chef from the freshest natural ingredients.

Straying away from the Tex-Mex concept, including tacos and enchiladas, Javier’s focuses on a more realistic image of what Mexico City dining is all about. The low-lit dining room at Javier’s is replete with mounted game, large paintings, and hanging plants. In the summer of 1960, George Raizk gave the Hoagie sandwich a home in Tucson, AZ. In addition to Philly favorites such as the Italian Hogie and the Cheese Steak & Onion, George added the Carmichael, 1/2 Moon Burger, and the Sack o' Steak.
