At Calavera we do two things, empanadas and tequila! Calavera opened in September of 2011 by partners Ken Yowell and Lily Ballance. What was once "the little empanada place on the corner" has become one of downtown Raleigh's must stop spots. Choose from 11 varieties of empanadas and up to 40 tequilas—30 on the menu, plus whatever exotics we have in that week. We take pride in using the freshest ingredients in not only our food, but our cocktails as well.

The Solvang Restaurant, located in the heart of downtown Solvang, is home to Arne’s Famous Aebleskiver, as well as serving traditional Danish and American Food. Traditionally Aebleskiver are served during the Christmas and Easter holidays in Denmark, but we celebrate year round. They are served with raspberry jam and a dusting of powdered sugar.
