The Dairy-ette opened in October of 1956 and from the very beginning, this original 50's diner has made the best burgers in Dallas, the freshest REAL french fries and Homemade Rootbeer.

Zach’s Shack serves all beef dogs with a natural casing which, when steamed, gives the dogs the “snap”.

Opened in 2004 as a food cart just down the street, Zach’s Shack moved in at 46th & Hawthorne in July 2005.

For over thirty years, the Hourglass has served the close-knit Broadway and Hell’s Kitchen communities as well as the neighborhood’s many visitors from across the country and around the world.

Our goal is to offer not only delicious, uncomplicated cuisine in a casual, homey atmosphere, but a place that others will also come to think of as home, or at least a home-away-from-home.
