The building at 6476 Washington Street was originally intended to be a very different type of restaurant. While we were designing it we thought we'd experiment by opening a temporary restaurant and calling it Ad Hoc, which literally means, "for this purpose."

The idea for Ad Hoc was simple - 5 days a week we'd offer a 4 course family style menu that changed each day, accompanied by a small, accessible wine list in a casual setting reminiscent of home. We wanted a place to dine for our community and ourselves.

In spring of 2004, Blue Hill at Stone Barns opened within the Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture in Pocantico Hills, New York. The Barbers helped create the philosophical and practical framework for Stone Barns Center, a working four-season farm and educational center just 30 miles north of New York City, and continue to help guide it in its mission to create a consciousness about the effect of everyday food choices.

Located in the carefully restored Historic Schneider Brothers Building, Lamberts serves up inventive BBQ, modern Texas cooking, and carefully prepared cocktails. We strive to provide a comfortable, casual, & original dining experience and offer lunch, dinner, and Austin’s best Sunday brunch.

Our upstairs bar and lounge features live music nightly and is available for special events and parties.

In 1967, Giuseppe, “Joe,” Aiello set sail for America from Palermo, Sicily to catch a fleeting dream. With only 13 dollars in his pocket, Giuseppe left his family, confident that the land of opportunity would provide more than an income but the life he dreamed of.

After years of kneading dough and simmering sauce for an employer, Giuseppe decided to fulfill his dream and open his own pizza shop.
